Liz Thompson - The Bad Liz
|
|
Artist's Bio:
Liz started working with beads about 13 years ago when one of the doctors that she worked with made her a pair of earrings while on break one day. At that point she was hooked.
Liz's first publication was in an Alaskan Bead Society (Anchorage Chapter) newsletter based on a clip art piece of some "dancing moose" (October 1998). She taught at Henry Ford Community College Center for Lifelong Learning (Dearborn Heights, Michigan) and has assisted a nationally known instructor at the Bead and Button Show 2007 in Miwaukee, WI. She has a series of "Moose" bead embroidery pieces, one of which was published in the Bead and Button magazine (February 2007) and a series of religious icons.
Currently, she is exploring an unexplained love affair with bead embroidery. Click on image to make it larger. |
