Before joining the 2007 Bead Journal Project, I was fascinated with
beads, but tended to admire the beaded wonders created by others
without daring to try beading anything on my own. Since joining this
group, I have learned by doing, trying, experimenting and discovered
that while beading does take time and energy, the end result is very
pleasing to my creative soul. This yearlong journey has been a great
experience and I look forward to next year's BJP travels as I plan to
grow and stretch my beading abilities much more in 2008 and strive to
find my own beading muse to follow wherever she may lead.
