Any J. Smith

I stumbled across Robin's blog one day and she mentioned visual journaling using beads.  Since I have been journaling and beading for years,
this seemed like a challenge that I should not pass up.

I had never done any bead embroidery before.  I approached each page as I would a piece of art.  I have learned so much this past year and hope to continue to learn more.  I pushed myself to learn new stitches, and to silence that internal critic.  That didn't always work.
I also found my voice in my blog which was something that I'd wanted to do for a long time,
but did not know how to approach it.

I have been so inspired and motivated by all of the bead artists who joined this challenge.  They have taught me much.  Thanks to all of my fellow travelers.

My pieces are 3" x 3" and will be mounted 4 x 4 on a canvas,
not necessarily in the order created.
