In the spring of 2007 I found myself on the verge of a creative growth spurt
and my husband about to leave for Iraq. Robin and the BJP were exactly what
I needed at this point in my life.

The creative journey of the year of the project really brought changes to my life. My art grew by leaps and bounds; I have made new friends; I have lost 20 pounds; my husband went to Iraq and returned; and I have closer to being who I am meant to be.

Each of my pieces are 8 inches by 10 inches
and have a sleeve on the back for hanging.
My goals for the year were: 1. Use at least one photograph on each month’s piece.
2. Combine beading with my photography.
3. Experiment with new materials, techniques and ideas.
